Living on campusDo you think
too plan to study away from home, then you will definitely need some accommodation. There are plenty of options for accommodation. Either you decide to buy your own apartment or you can live in a dorm or hostel. It\’s probably up to each of us what we decide to do.
But many people think that living in a dorm is really great. Well, maybe it depends. Sometimes it\’s not quite as rosy as it seems. Don\’t let anything fool you.
You may have heard someone say that dorms are more social. While it\’s true that you have classmates within easy reach, there\’s really zero privacy. Plus, whether bathrooms, kitchen or fridge, you just have to share all of it, whether you want to or not. So you shouldn\’t be surprised if you find out someone has stolen your food.
But it\’s true that dorms are such a safe zone. If your roommate doesn\’t like you, for example, it\’s possible to move within a few days. A better case is if your friend is also looking for a place in the dorm. You can at least live together. In addition, a constant rent is also advantageous.
If you want to have privacy then a private room is the best option for you. In a private room, no one watches your comings, goings and comings. It\’s a little different in a dorm. If you do decide to find one, be careful. Everywhere, if the rent is low, something is wrong.
It\’s better to spend the weekend somewhere other than a dorm or a hostel. Why? Ask those who live there.
Dorms are good in that they tend to be close to school. You don\’t have to wake up early and you can at least get some sleep.
What you will find around every corner in the dorms are students who want to have more fun than they should.
There are advantages and disadvantages to everything. It\’s up to you what you decide to do. But remember, you should think carefully before making any decision so that you don\’t regret it later.
